Back to Cleaning ProductsBe cautious of the word “NATURAL” on labels. It is an unregulated word and undefined. In other words it can mean anything on a label not necessarily healthy, non-toxic or environmentally friendly. A product that is healthy, organic or environmentally friendly will use those labels. Often the word natural is a good indication of deceiving one to think it is good for you or the environment.
According to a research Study at VPI (and numerous other references support the findings)
Cleaning with hydrogen peroxide and vinegar in sequence purged heavily contaminated foods and surfaces of virtually all samonella, E.coli, and shigella even more effectively than bleach or commercial household cleaners. Do not mix them!! Instead clean with Hydrogen Peroxide followed by cleaning with Vinegar. This is only if you fear heavy contamination. Otherwise one alone is sufficient.
